Lussommo® candle sand Cookie brown has been developed for a warm and refined way of creating ambiance. The soft, cookie hue gives any interior a natural, homely and timeless look. The plant-based candle sand transforms almost any suitable holder into a stylish candle and offers complete freedom to determine the shape, scale and appearance of your candles yourself.

Fill a suitable holder with the candle sand, insert a wick and create your own candle in a matter of moments. Add a suitable Lussommo® fragrance oil as desired to make personal scented candles. After use, simply remove the solidified part and insert a new wick, so you can reuse and reshape the candle sand again and again.

What is Candle Sand?

Candle sand consists of small granules of candle wax. Lussommo® uses vegetable wax for this. You pour the granules into a heat-resistant holder and insert a wick. This way, you can easily make a candle yourself without having to melt the candle wax first.
How does candle sand work?
  • Fill a heat-resistant bowl or pot with Lussommo® candle sand.
  • Insert the wick into the candle sand, leaving approximately 0.5cm protruding above the surface.
  • Light the wick.
  • A small amount of wax will melt around the wick, creating a liquid wax pool.
  • After use, let the wax cool down. You can then remove the solidified piece with the wick and insert a new wick.
What are the advantages of candle sand over regular candles?
  • Reusable: Unburnt candle sand can be reused.
  • Your personal taste: You choose the container, shape, colour, and quantity.
  • Easy to refresh: Remove the used wick with the solidified wax and insert a new wick.
